Illustrating Another Chapter Book

I've been working full time drawing characters and backgrounds for a cartoon show and painting more works for my solo art show next april. My personal work often consists of friendly, mysterious creatures, but I like to stay versatile as an artist and make sure I never forget how to draw real people. I've just began illustrating another chapter book for Lectura Books titled Carlito's Story. This book has a heavier subject matter than Graciela's Dream in which Carlito gets mixed in with drugs and gang activity. I'm excited to produce drawings that are different from my usual.
